renders "thieves;" from the Greek words "duo" and "lestai," duo meaning two, lestai rendered as a thief.
Matthew 27:44 The thieves [duo lestai] (two thieves) also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Mark 15:27 And with him they crucify "duo lestai;" the one on his right hand, and the other on his left."
