BIBLICAL RESEARCH
Slickster
Looking through google searches-- we found Matt pounding on other Christian Groups like he is all that, looks like he lives for this type of thing, this guy is as easy as 1,2,3. No true scholarship, slacks in historical research, we will show you this teacher is not as good as he wants you to think. Slickster is what we will call Matt at this point.
Slicksters first statement of faith-- "The Bible is the Word of God and its original manuscripts are free from errors and contradictions." Wow, Slickster-- tell us and the entire world what the names of these manuscripts are? Scholars agree we do not have them, what we do have are Greek variants, copies of copies of copies.
No errors-- have you ever read the Bible at all Slick?
Timothy and Forgery- "The author of First Timothy have been traditionally identified as the Apostle Paul. He is named as the author of the letter in the text. Nineteenth and twentieth-century scholarship questioned the authenticity of the letter, with many scholars suggesting that First Timothy, along with Second Timothy and Titus, are not original to Paul, but rather to an unknown Christian writing sometime in the late-first-to-mid-2nd century. Most scholars now affirm this view. As evidence for this perspective, they put forward that the Pastoral Epistles contain 306 words that Paul does not use in his unquestioned letters, that their style of writing is different from that of his unquestioned letters, that they reflect conditions and a church organization not current in Paul's day, and that they do not appear in early lists of his canonical works" Direct quote; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Epistle_to_Timothy.
From the narrators- we will look at this page for any mistakes, and refresh, revising, adding content. We want to be very clear-- this page is no personal attack towards Slick, but point out another perspective. The study and learning process for all involved is educational, the name Slickster is meant for good humor.

Mark 2:26 historical mistake-- Mark quotes "Abiathar was the high priest” and this incident in David’s life is only recorded in; 1 Sam 21.1-7. "Ahimelech is mentioned as the priest," Abiathar, his son, would, later on, become the priest but he is not introduced to the narrative for another chapter (22.20).
Where is the book of Jasher? Joshua 10:13 “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher?” I am sure the entire world would like to know the answer to that.
Written in Isaiah the prophet? Mark 1:2 (NIV) "As it is written in Isaiah the prophet, “Behold, I am sending my messenger before your face, who shall prepare your way.” The Old Testament verse whose words comes closest is Malachi 3:1, the correction was made in modern Greek translations, the word "Isaiah" was removed, or rendered to read this way: "As it is written in the prophets," James Stewart Trans.
